Today, we had enough snow to send the plow crew to work. This time we had the Russell snow plow wings extended. For right now they are temporarily secured with some steel bar, but hopefully some time in the future we might have them operable with radio control.
While we did not have the really deep snow, we had some drifting which made for some nice plowing. We had one wreck that I left on the video. The plow hit a spring switch but with the snow in the points it would not spring which allowed the front truck of the plow to climb the outside rail. Just like the prototype.
