We were able to do a 2nd plow extra with the Russell snow plow and a least Southern SW-1200 locomotive. This time it really went well, the engine had more than enough power in the wet heavy snow of today. Many places on the line had more than 8-inches of snow but at least the track wasn't ice coated this time.
Our two Soo Line engines should be back on the railroad later this week, so if it snows again we will make a real plow extra with both engines and a caboose. www.youtube.com/watch?v=SqIDgsBrdJkWe KNOW the plow works and it works well. I hope to make the wings operable sometime in the future and maybe even set up the flanger so it operates as well.

I've had my fill of snow up here in New York, but that sure does look like fun. The 1200 seems to make easy work of it. Thanks for sharing.
