I am new to this form site and looking for some help in establishing the value of a kit built 1/4 scale model of a 1915, 65 HP, IJ Case, Traction engine with a scratch built tender. The kit was manufactured by A. Terning of Kansa in the 1990’s.
* The boiler is beefy, 1/4 inch thick and the following number is stamped on the firebox door: 9A516-70HT19498-38 * It is stamped with a built date of 1994 and a pressure rating of 150 psi. * Boiler is also stamped near the smokestack with # HTC06966 * Heavy duty hitch to connect tender * Open cross head with drip oiler * Adjustable mechanical oiler feeding into steam chest * Brass drain cocks on steam cylinder * Adjustable fly all governor * Working brass whistle * Worm drive chain steering * Water preheated with drain cocks * Engine is properly painted with pinstripes & authentic Case Eagle out front
