After information as to how to enhance the exhaust sound of my 7 1/4 inch gauge 0 8 0 Carribou? Any suggestions?

I asked this question on another board and received these answers: 1. Exhaust valve openings should be square, not round. 2. Smaller exhaust nozzle to increase back pressure. 3. Stack should have a 1:6 taper bottom to top (Not straight) 4. Cylinders should not be oversize. Many locos have cylinder bores too large, this makes them "slippery" to run and you can't work much steam pressure without slipping. 5. Get dry steam to the cylinders. Steam to the throttle should come from the top of the steam dome.
