Hello, I'm looking for people in Michigan who are interested in 2.5" scale on 7.5" gauge track. Perhaps there are enough of us, some possible with property, that we might be able to build a purpose build narrow gauge railroad.
Thank you,
Zoë

You might try livesteamtracks.info to get in touch with some of the clubs there. Great Lakes Live Steamers etc.
Good luck,
-Mike

I can't tell you if there are other modelers in that scale in Michigan; very possibly somewhere. www.srclry.com/ models 3-3/4 inch scale on 7-1/2" gauge. Maybe they could help point you to different scale folks. Other 7-1/2" gauge tracks in the state but as far as I know mostly 1-1/2" scale or thereabouts. Paul

Hello, Am looking for the correct size chain, to use on the hand brakes for my 2.5" scale RG Caboose, 0503. Can anyone tell me the size used on the 'real thing', or what size they're using on 2.5" scale Narrow Gauge cars, please? Zoë

Hello,
Busy working on C21, and wondered what to do about the tender air tank.
Should I find or build a welded version, and cover it with a riveted 'dummy' wrapper?
If I did make it operational..., is it large enough to perform any real function on the engine (like brakes)?
Any suggestions, or examples of successful (or not) attempts would be most welcome.
Thank you,
Zoë
