Not really, Scooby1. I'm just about ten steps ahead of you on the same road.

Has anybody used the pre assembled or realtrains rail? I understand it is not the same as West Coast Rail and thier FROGS and rails don't match up to the high or crown? Can anyone comment? Thanks, Mike in NH

Does anyone know of a source of track for 3/4" scale, 4.5" guage track?
Real trains web site's smallest track is 1" scale.

I plan to build a 3-1/2 and 4-3/4 inch gauge elevated in my backyard. Rails will be steel strap 1-1/4 by 1/4 with posts every 4 feet or so that should work. There is no one else in Oregon that I can find who can accomodate 3/4 inch scale for 3-1/2 inch gauge. Yet there seems to be a lot of builders.

efbernardc...
everyone else in 3/4" scale runs on the 1" scale stuff. the 1" is realistic enough i guess... for riding 2 feet up in the air. i've been at clubs where the rail is just steel, no rail profile. Most tracks are set up so that a 3.5" guage extra rail is inside the 1" scale line, and they share a common rail.
