Well, I altered a bit from Kozo, instead of an arbor with threads done with a die, I instead tapped it for a bolt, and used some brass washers between the wheel and the bolt. THis setup was easier for me, and works just as well. And here are 2 finished wheels before being made to look pretty sitting on one of my old scrap axles.

Looks good Bill, Put a prick punch mark on that mandrel in front of the number 1 jaw of your lathe chuck. That way, if you need to chuck the mandrel up again, just line up the mark with the number 1 jaw and it should spin true....John

thats a good idea, I have 10 more wheel blanks I bought extra for a 2nd car to make, however these 8 wheels were so much work, I just didnt want to bother with the rest. I'll do that so I can save it for later use, hopefully it will run true.
