It has been alittle quite around here lately. I assume with the weather starting to warm up people are thinking about things other than working in the machine shop. I know that I am doing more work to the racecar than the locomotive right now. I still try to squeeze in a few hours each week in the metal shop though. What are you guys doing?

I've been doing some pistol shooting lately, as Enco is dealing with my bison chuck problem

Hi Guys, I am still working on the wheels, needs the last chucking to complete the job. But my interest got peaked a little with the SHumateck DRO and I ordered the parts, that will be a project to complete, so that I can fit it to my Myford. I have never done electonics..... I hope I will be up to the task. Cheers. IronMan

Working on four pairs of A3 tender trucks in 1 1/2 scale because I have the pieces on hand and rough cut. Picking at my Allen Mogul and the Kozo Heisler engine as money comes available. Taxes will suck up any funds for the next couple of months. Trying to make readable drawings of the Baldwin Flex frame in Live Steam in 1 1/2 scale with my CAD program. And lastly, most Saturdays I am down at PNLS working on the car barn.

Right now, I'm taking a break from the 3/4" Yankee (Friends) B&A Tanker and working on a copper boiler for my Kozo A-3. It has a Stainless Steel boiler right now, and I know that Stainless Steel boilers are not the way to go, so that's why I'm building the copper one. I hope to be running this summer....John

I'm doing the cylinder heads for my Falk. I glue the head to the cylinder and then slip it over a mandrel on my rotary table so that I can drill all of the head bolt holes evenly. If you want to see my set-up, go to www.willjordan.com/falk/falkcyl.shtmlgrace & peace will www.willjordan.com
