I recently bought a Jet GHB 1340 with D1-4 cam locks. I loosened the cam locks 1/4 turn, to the match mark. I cannot slide the installed chuck off. Any suggestions?

If all is working properly, the chuck was pulled tightly onto a taper "nose" when the cams are snugged up. Assuming all is lined up correctly and the marks are properly freeing the chuck you will need to give it a wrap with something non-damaging to the chuck. Soft-face dead-blow hammer. Bar of brass or copper or something against the back edge of the chuck and smack that bar with a hammer. Once released from the taper it should slide off the cam pins unless the cams are not quite right. Have a board under the chuck to protect the ways.
