Hi guys can any one help me with advice as to remove a flue tube in a all copper boiler then replace it? A little more information would be helpful, such as what locomotive, the gauge/scale, age & condition, flue diameter and length, and the nature of the problem. An individual flue is difficult to repair, not so much because it can't be gotten out, although that can certainly be a tough job, but because silver soldering the replacement flue brings on a bunch of unavoidable problems which can easily be fatal to the boiler.

I think you should be very careful while replacing the boiler tube because just because of the wrong replacement method. there could be a leakage problem. I think if you are not confident to do it by your self then you should call a technician... ----------------------------------------- Click here for best packaging tube | steel locking

It takes the right amount of heat in the right place, and if not done properly you will melt the solder in everyplace , except where you want. I've never tried it myself but I watched a master at it, it's not as easy as it looks. Kozo's books might give you some hints but I'd try to find someone firmilar with copper boiler construction. The English are famous for copper boilers and there are some good books printed there but I can't tell you where to find a copy
