I came up with a jig design to hold all the arms for the reversing and cylinder cock systems while sawing slots in them. With 6 arms to slot in 4 configurations I felt it needed an easy way to align them properly. I drew it up in CAD to get the dimensions to locate the holes in X-Y. The actual slotting went pretty slick. I used a big clamp to reach over and hold the arm down. Mr. Hiraoka's techniques are definitely rubbing off on me!

Now that's engineering, certainly makes it easy. Did you do the hand nobs at the end as part of the handle or add them later? Mighty nice work !

Thanks. I drilled the holes first, then turned the handle, then milled the tapered sections, then rounded the ends and finally the slot to complete it. Here it is after turning the end in the 4-jaw. The reversing lever is a turned handle piece soldered to thinner lever stock.
