That is a really interesting riding car. I guess you can't have switches on elevated track. (unless you're riding side saddle and all the switches are on the other side) I made a new compound clamp for my lathe this weekend, now I can get back to the tender wheels soon. --Mike

The next picture is of Sheldon Yee's beautiful "Virginia" built by the late Mr.(Charles?) Pickup. The riding car was built by the DeFeitas brothers and is very detailed and looks wonderful. The understructure of this car is just like the real thing. I bought an HO kit of a 60 foot flatcar and they must have modeled it from something very similar. It is 4.75 inch gauge to 1 inch scale foot. Some guys really have the gift. www.mojaveserver.info/gallery/Gordon
