I am working on a full set of prototype drawing of Climax CN 1551 - a 70 Ton Class C built in 1919 with Slide Valves which is being rebuilt at Cass, West Virginia by the Mountain State Railroad & Logging Historical Association. I am making progress (but its work in progress) and a 3D pdf of the locomotive printed from my 3D CADD program can be found at: s3.amazonaws.com/SIMONTON/1551.pdfUse Adobe Acrobat or Acrobat Reader. Once activated, you can zoom in, rotate, section, spin, and hide parts to reveal the parts which are concealed by attached parts.

When you say "prototype drawing of Climax CN 1551", do you mean you re going to produce dimensioned shop drawings? If so are you selling them? Are there any for 1/8 scale, 1/16 scale?

Since he said prototype and mentioned a locomotive being rebuilt I am guessing he means 1:1 scale drawings and you would have to do your own math if you were scaling down.
I'm sure I'll be corrected if I am wrong about that.

The drawings are in 3D CADD and are in 12" to the foot scale. I can scale them, but would prefer to provide the drawings of parts in dimensioned 2D as needed. The drawings I have are based in part on the original Climax Manufacturing Co. drawings provided to me by John Lewis (the available drawings are hit and miss) and where not available careful and repetitive measuring of the parts of CN 1551. I have also prepared drawings of compiled information such as the following: A pdf version may be found at: s3.amazonaws.com/SIMONTON/Engine+Frame+Sections.pdfUnfortunately, the new private operator of the Cass Scenic Railroad shut down our shop in December 2015, and no work has been done on CN 1551 since.
