I was given a small stationary steam engine today, obviously very old, no name plate or other identification evident, brass construction, two cylinders and powered by a candle beneath the boiler. If anyone can tell me what I have or lead me to someone who can, I would really appreciate it and thanks in advance.
Paul
PS and if anyone can explain in laymen's language exactly how to put a photograph on here, I would be in your debt.

Paul, These forums are not setup for hosting photos which makes it a pain. If you know the URL of a photo then you just surround it with tags that are img and slash img surrounded with square brackets. You can use the Reply dialog and the button with a little photo on it to create the img tags. I can't write the tags plainly because they will get changed when posted. It looks like this except substitute square brackets for curly braces: {img}http://somesite.com/somephoto.jpg{/img} Now you need to get your photo hosted on a website. You can join www.flickr.com (you need to get a yahoo login to do it) and upload your photo(s). Then you use the ALL SIZES button and display your photo at medium size. Flickr displays the URL to the photo. You cut and paste the URL between the {img} and {/img} tags (use square brackets instead of curly braces.)
